Almosta Farm offers Colorado Blue Spruce and Black Hills Spruce for transplanting. Trees up to 15 feet can be transplanted onto your property for an extra fee.
Note: Early spring and late fall are ideal for transplanting mature evergreens. Evergreens candle or “bloom” during the summer months and should not be disturbed.
Black Hills Spruce are a softer, short needled evergreen. This tree allows Christmas ornaments to hang freely between branches.
Colorado Spruce trees are a broad, pyramid shaped evergreen. The dense foliage needs little shearing. Excellent as a specimen, hedge or windbreak. Likes fully exposed, well drained locations. Best in full sun.
