Our landscape and Christmas tree farm is nestled between Rogers and Elk River. Located just 30 miles from downtown Minneapolis, Almosta Farm will give you a feeling of being “up north” without the drive. The farm is family owned and operated. In keeping with traditional Christmases of years past, Almosta Farm grows natural, organic trees. We do not shear trees to create “a look”, and we do not use chemicals to enhance growth. We guarantee a tree that is beautiful in its natural state. We specialize in Colorado Blue Spruce and Black Hills Spruce, and also offer fresh cut Fraser firs. In addition to landscape trees and Christmas trees, Almosta Farm’s Christmas Barn has a large selection of wreaths, and spruce tips for creative do-it-yourselfers who wish to produce their own masterpiece. We have 10 acres of mature trees from four to fifteen feet; driving paths lead to parking spaces near your selected tree. Cutting and loading help is available if needed. Saws and twine will be provided. Our gift shop is loaded with unique gift ideas and boasts hand made items from local artisans. Free hot cider, hot chocolate and candy canes will add to the pleasure of your family outing. In addition to our Christmas tree sales, we have an extensive selection of larger trees available for landscaping purposes.
